Anna Peter-Breton (1985 - )
Biography
Anna Peter-Breton was born in 1985.
Originally from Hungary and Kyrgyzstan, she now lives in Paris with her family.
Peter-Breton's main stylistic approach began figuratively, inspired by her world travels, gradually broadening her evolution as an artist towards more abstract works.
Physical travel paved the way for creative travel.
Anna Peter-Breton explores elements of nature that appear transparent, with gradations of color and organic nuances. She likes to work in oils on the textures of organic materials and play with monochromes and cameos. Flowers, clouds and water are often present on these canvases, which gracefully evoke dreams and mystery.
Her first solo show took place in 2018 in Paris. In 2019, she presented her work at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna and at Abigail Gallery in Budapest. She has also had an exhibition in Naples and several solo shows in Paris. Her illustrated watercolor books recounting these journeys are available in selected bookshops in Paris. She is also co-founder of the communications agency Atelier Casanova and a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris.
